iTunes 10.4.1 Released: Fixes Keyboard Issues
You can download iTunes 10.4.1 here.
Fixes include:
- Fixing media keys on some keyboards (my Logitech keyboard finally works again, it broke in 10.4 — life has been hell)
- Issues with artwork on songs and videos
- Problems with iTunes upon Mac resuming from sleep
- VoiceOver support issues
- iTunes becoming unresponsive during an HD movie purchase
I went nuts trying to get my keyboard to work. I change songs dozens of times a day, and don’t want to alt tab out of the code I’m working on… I want to hit my keyboard media keys.

My media keys (as well as others) are NOT restored. I call today’s release a bust. I use a Logitech as well and life still sucks.

Mine aren’t either. I tried updating the Logitech Set Point. I tried rebooting, remapping keys, everything I could think of. Finally I submitted a support request with Apple letting them know I couldn’t get my keys to work again.

Thanks for agreeing. I am no tech-savvy dude, but I did all the things you did too. Updated SetPoint and all that jazz. Nothing.
What a frustrating issue…
